Oh, I see. Yeah the generic clomid is part of walmart's low cost prescription program. It's not on the $4 list, but I think maybe $9. You just have to make sure you tell the pharmacy that you want the generic (clomiphene) whenever turning in the prescription, and that you want to use their generic prescription program. Good luck with everything!

I am in the US nd that is exactly what I wanted to hear I get all my meds thru Wal-Mart.  But the Pink Card is for family planning purposes...it's actually called Illinois Healthy women Card

No problem! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the pink card, but clomid is generally not very expensive. Not sure what country you are in, but here in the US, there's a generic version that is less than $10 a month at walmart.

Yes, because when you ovulate, you will get a period about 2 weeks after...unless you're pregnant, of course. It basically works like this. In a normal cycle, your body gears up to ovulate by developing a follicle (egg) and thickening your uterine lining (which is basically made up of blood and mucus). Then once you ovulate, this lining will stay in tact for about 2 weeks, waiting to see if a fertilized egg implants....and if not, the lining will shed and you get your period. If your body is NOT ovulating, however, the lining won't develop properly and you won't have a normal period. Hope that makes sense.

By the way, if you're NOT currently trying to get pregnant, and just want to regulate your periods, birth control pills will probably be a better option. They are also used to regulate your periods...but of course, only if you're not trying to get pregnant. If you're trying, ovulation-inducing drugs would be your best bet.

Will the ovulation induction help with the period situation

Chances are you're just not ovulating...which would explain why you haven't had a period. If you want to get pregnant, you could always ask your doctor for a couple of blood tests to make sure everything is OK and maybe an ovulation-inducing drug like clomid to help you ovulate. Best of luck!
