Elevated BBT but Negative HPT

I have been ttc for a little over a year now. I had taken depo in august of 2008, and I am back to my normal self now. I also see a fertility specialist. I saw him on the 11-10-09 to do a shot to make me ovulate. He said that he did not need to do this shot because I had ovulated on my own and it looked as though I was "Very Possibly Pregnant." This info gave me a shock, because I didnt suspect it and still dont feel like I could be. I have had these strange things happen, that I looked up online yesterday and they just so happened to be symptoms- I had no clue and would have never imagined it!! They were, Cramping(didnt know about this one), spotting very lightly (pink), increased discharge, blurry vision(had no clue about this one!), extremely emotional, irritable, and I could smell things that my husband wasn't smelling..(Had no clue about this one either). But, Here it is CD 26 and an HPT came out negative, although it had a second line, it was wayyy to faint for me to consider positive. I have no clue how to read these charts, but according to my doctor I ovulated on CD 10. I have had an elevated bbt for 15 days now..
Any info or suggestions?

Oh I see...I thought he gave it to you anyway, which would have been weird ;-) Well in that case, I think a faint line is a very good sign! If you're worried about evaporation lines, just try again tomorrow! It should be darker and easier to see by then! Good luck!

No, I went to get the shot, and the doctor pulled me out of the ultrasound room after looking at my chart and told me that he didn't think I needed it because there was "A very high chance that I may even be pregnant." So I did not get the HCG shot. Just a talk with him.. lol. But.. I really have no experience reading these charts and I was surprised when he told me that!
Thank you for your info and your good wishes!
It means so much to me!

I really hope this is it for you, but just wanted to warn you that the trigger shot you got will give you a false positive for up to 10 days (it contains the same hormone your body produces while pregnant). Not really sure why your doctor would give it to you if it was already 11 days since your positive OPK. That seems odd to me, but the again, I'm no doctor... As for your chart, it does look promising! Best of luck this month!

Thanks for your input. I hope you're right! It almost looked like an evap line but it showed up with in the time limit. So, I kind of disregarded it.
Thank you!

Hi Lishahope, I line even a very faint line is considered a positive. It is probably very early and I am sure if you test again in a nother day or so it will get darker. Congratulations.
