Endometriosis, one tube and IVF

Hello ppl. i'm new here.
I was diagnosed endometriosis and one my fallopian tube is swollen w fluid. My dr prescribed me Norethindrone 5mg for 6 months. After that we're planning to have IVF.  I was also suggested to remove my swelling tube. Is it necessary to remove it?
Personally, i'd rather not having any surgery.
Im late 30s, never been pregnant yet, so that's another concern.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
The norethindrone will do well and help with the endometriosis. Before planning IVF it is advisable to remove any source of infection or pathology in the genital tract. However further assessment can be done after 6 months to see if there is any regression and a decision taken accordingly at that time.
Hope this helps.
