Estradiol very high Follicular phase

I'm 37 year old Indian woman. My mensus had been very regular (26days) as clock. But it began to fluctuate since last year to (23-28 days) and the bleeding now lasts for 1-2 days only.

So I went to the GYN and he did tests, on follicular phase day 2-
1st month - Estradiol - 49, LH - 12.8, TSH - (Thyroid) 2.21.

2nd month - the FSH-6.6, LH - 3.5, Estradiol -25

3rd month - FSH -10.2, LH.- 3.0 and Estradiol(E2) - 345 This is very vulnerable isn't it ? Why is this?

The doctor did an ultrasound scan of entire abdomen. Everything else was remarked normal but was mentioned that "Ovaries not well seen"

Please advice me the doctor seems not very concerned. But I'm concerned.

Thanks

Nimmi

Well I have never seen levels like that without it being what I thought but you need to remember I am NOT a dr. If your dr told you it was a hormonal imbalance you need to do this. Make him find out the cause of why it is doing that and treat the cause not the symptoms! Does that make since? I reallt think you need to go to a new dr or abck to your and tell him you are there for answers and to make a plan to find out the cause! That is why you are in his office and why you pay for that visit and if he blows you off tell him he will not get a penny for that visit becuase he wasted your time and did not do what you "Were" going to pay him for. You really need to go to an RE!!

Ido think according to your levels you are premenopausal. There would be no other explination. There is nothing to worry about it though. If you are trying to get pregnant then you need to start using progesterone suppositories. You need a perscription for them though. and start temping your basal body temerature, and use an OPK every month to detect ovulation. If you are not ovulating you need to use Clomid again perscription and work fast. Again there is nothing a dr can do to reverse it and if your dr is not supporting you enough through this then you need to find a new one. Go to a reproductive endroconoligist if your insurance will pay for it or you have the money if you really want to concieve now, but it looks like you don't have much time. FSH levels are 10-13 deminished reserve (your eggs) thenif it goes over 13 you are out of eggs. Do you understand now? Or do you need more explaining?

Nimmi it sounds like you are premenopause. Your FSH is now in deminished eggs level. Here is a link for the levels . Where you wanting more children? If you do I would say go to an RE and act fast! It is dropping off fast.
