I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I actually read brown eyed gurls post about you in the other forum...so sorry.
I had a m/c in June and had a D and C. It took me 14 weeks to get af and I didn't o the first month. Dh and I tried again from Sept. to Jan and I got preg. in Jan. With my first D and C my RE said to wait one period.
I had another m/c last Wednesday and had a D and C on Friday. My RE said to wait 2 periods this time. Dh and I are a mess so we wanted to start sooner. I don't get why this time it's 2 periods. To be honest, we will probably try after one.
The good news it I did get preg. again....it just takes a little bit. Again, I'm sorry about your loss...I'll keep you in my prayers!
firstly - i am so sorry for your news.
you can try after one normal period.
Hugs.
I've had 3 miscarriages and 3 D&Cs. My doctors said I only had to wait until I had 1 regular period before trying again. However, it took a while to get my first period the first time, so time between D&C and next conception was 8 months. The 2nd about 7 months. I am now waiting again after D&C 3 weeks ago.
So it may take some time, but maybe not so long for you. You can try after your first normal period, unless there is some other reason the doctor reccomends longer (say if it was ectopic).

Hi, this may not be what you want to hear but I am going to share my story. I had two D & C's 5 days apart last January. I have been trying to get pregnant again ever since with absolutly no luck. I actually have an HSG next week because I was told that my D & C's could have caused scar tissue to be blocking my tubes, since I should be pregnant again by now. Dont worry, I am by far the exception to the rule, and maost women get pregnant again within a reasonable amount of time. Be aware though that many doctors want you to wait a period of time (often 3 months) before trying again so that tyour body can regulate and be a more stable enviroment for your next pregnancy. Good luck!
