Exercise

I was wandering what is the safe amount to exercise, or what yall do when going through fertliity treatments? I'm getting pretty much recovered from my surgery, and really want to hit the gym again at least a little bit!  I guess my biggest question is should you limit your exercise or type of exercise after O time/or IUI?   we have a charity run (5k) that will prob be hitting near the middle or end of my 2ww this next cycle, and wandering if i should just walk or if running is ok?   THANKS!

I was told only during stimulation meds to avoid exercise, boats, biking, anything that bumps or shakes you because your follicles are already enlarged and you don't want them to rupture.

I think every Dr. is different...BUT my RE said absolutely no more strenuous exercise like step aerobics, Spin class...etc..  He said walk and lift weights and that is it.  DUE to stress hormones being released during intense exercise.  It can interfere with infertillity hormones.
BUT not every Dr. feels this way...

Hello,

This question was a topic last week, if you scroll down you can still find all the comments.  Around O you don't want to workout too hard because it could bend or twist your tubes the wrong way, this is what I was told. I know that you don't want to raise your heart rate too high also.
