IUI Question

Hello Ladies,

So I did 3 months with clomid to help me ovulate which didn't work. I decided to take this cycle off but my temps are not really showing me anything.

I am looking into doing IUI.  Knowing that clomid isn't gonna work for me, what are the different things the docs would do to help me? I would like to here some other stories about what you went through.  success and failure too

There is a free seminar in march that I am going to attend they will give out a coupon for a free consult!

My hubby's test we are great so its just me!  I am over weight do to PCOS but its hard to loose. Took metformin for a minute but it hurt my tummy to much (did make it past the diarrhea stage)  So I think I might try again.  I have been trying to loose some weight and its just not working.   Even back in the day when I lost 60lbs I didn't have a period

Thanks
Lynn

i tried clomid was unsuccessful, then moved onto fsh with trigger shot did ovulation induction with timed intercourse and was unsuccessful then moved on to fsh, trigger and iui first attempt at iui and fell pregnant, now 28 weeks along, good luck in your endeavour, maybe you need the follicle stimulating hormone injections instead of the clomid as i have pcos as well and am overweight and clomid i just didn't respond too

Thanks,

I will not do IVF so we have to figure it out with IUI, I don't really have the money to do this but I'm willing to go this far...

I tried Clomid and double IUIs for four cycles but got no where... only ended up with cysts. We switched over to IVF in month 5 and were successful in our first attempt. It was a huge jump for us (emotionally, physically, and financially) but the end result is our baby that's due in FIVE days.  Talk to your RE and see what options he feels are best for you. Good luck!
