FET questions...

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well. I'm new here. Been TTC for 3 years. Just did my third IVF attempt this past Wednesday using frozen embryos. Could any of you tell me the symptoms you felt shortly after the FET and between the bloodwork. I feel so heavy, almost period like. I've got 6 more days to wait until bloodwork. Was hoping for someone who could relate and maybe bring me some peace. Going through this is hard.

Take care everyone!!

Don't know if I can be much help since I got pregnant with a fresh cycle and had twins..but I can tell you this, you just know when u are pregnant..I mean you just feel sooo different, aside from all the meds, you just start developing new symptoms..I began to feel symptoms 3 days after the transfer..and also I knew right away I was having twins because the symptoms were almost too much to handle..nausea 24/7, horrible sensitivity to odors, had to pee every 5 min, etc and all this started right after the transfer...funny thing was all the ultrasounds showed only one baby until I had my 4th ultrasound they saw the second one..but the whole time I knew they were wrong, i knew I was carrying twins...if you know your body well enough, you might just be able to tell if you are pregnant :)..good luck hun..hope God blesses you with a healthy bundle of joy :).

Congrats on your transfer :). I will be doing a fet with donor embryos on  aug 30th!  I have only been pregnant once ( miscarried though). From a transfer, and the only symptom I had was I had to get up and pee in the middle of the night, and I never ever do that.  I am sending you a huge mound of baby dust!  I sure hope you get a bfp!!!!!

Hi patiently!

We did IVF twice.  Our fresh cycle didn't work, but our FET did work and now I'm almost 25 weeks pregnant!  We only had one little embryo that survived the freeze/thaw process, so we were only able to implant one.  I'm here to tell you that it does only take one!!  I didn't feel any real "symptoms" I don't think.  EXCEPT the fact that I was DEATHLY tired.  Between my transfer and the bloodwork, I was SO exhausted, I felt like I had been hit by a train!!  That was my only real "tell tale" sign.  But every woman is different.  Hang in there.  I know the wait until your blood test is the hardest part!!  Sending lots of love!
