Lots of Eggwhite but a neg. opk???

This morning my temp dropped (day 14) but right away this morning had a neg. opk. then at work around 10 i went to the restroom and when i wiped there was a lot of eggwhite material.  so i left work early and my hubby and i were able to meet to bd! LOL!  My question is why the neg. opk? or do you think it will be a pos. opk tomorrow? i've heard that once you get a pos. opk it can be too late if you go on just the opk's is that true?  
Ive never had this eggwhite material that i can remember and if i have it was neve rthis amount! which i'm excited about!!! my other question is do i do another opk tonight and just see what it says? b/c i'm suppose to start the progesterone supp. 3 days after a pos. opk. so if i get a positive tonight i would start it friday night. and if i wait to get a pos. tomorrow then i'd start it saturday night...is it that big of a difference/ any advice is helpful!!!

My RE has me taking progestrone the day after my IUI which I am guessing would be considered 1dpo if we were trying without help.

Since you are charting, you should see a temp spike to tell you that you did ov. My guess is start the day you see the spike. You may also want to reconfirm with your doctor or a nurse at the practice you are at.

welli couldn't help it...last night i took an opk and it was pos. (it was neg. in the morning) and just for kicks i took one again this morn to verify and it was still pos.  so my hubby and i will bd the next two days and we did yesterday too.  any have any advice on when i should start the progesterone supp. then?   friday or sat. night? anyone out there?
