First Response Ovulation test

Hi all, question abt the testing.  I took the test yesterday and it definitely was light.  Re-took it this morning and it was a dark pink like the tester.  Took it again this afternoon to double check & it was light again.  So Im wondering if I got the wrong result this morning because I did it right when I woke up.

The problem about testing first thing in the morning is not that it is more concentrated, but that the LH is usually synthesized in your body in the early morning hours and therefore might not show up in your urine until a little later. In other words, first morning urine may show negative even though you are in fact having an LH rise. So, since you still got a line that was as dark as the test line with first morning urine, I would definitely consider that a positive. But, like MeAgain said, you could always add basal body temperature to your charting to help confirm ovulation after the fact. Best of luck!

Not suposed to use first morning urine.. It is too concentrated.. So, I would say those were negative tests.

I would bet it will be positive probably tonight.. Try testing around 6pm.. If negative, try again in the morning with second morning urine, not first..

You should also take your temps, as that is the only thing that proves you did ovulate.. OPK's only tell you you body is trying to ovulate.
