First time using Provera tabs

Hi girls, correct me if i'm wrong, the time that i will start bleeding is after i took provera? i've been taking it for 15 days now (Dec. 30). my doctor told me to take it until i bleed, but as far as i read to the other posts i should be taking this for 5 days only. im so worried now and i'm planning to stop taking it for tommorow (Dec. 31) so that i'll start waiting for my period. i can now feel the signs of having my period (e.g mood swings, lower back pains, bloated and laziness)

sorry this is my first time i missed my period and im not pregnant.

Good Morning,

I visited my doctor earlier and informed her that i still don't have my period. She advised me to take hormonal tests (FSH, Prolactin and i can't remember the third one). She also hopes that my period arrives before the results of the tests.

How long will it take for my period to arrive? Because until now I am still waiting. Me and my bf are hoping to correct my cycle so that we can have a baby soon..

Hi,
Stopping provera will help induce menstrual bleeding. Since you have already taken it for long, it can now be stopped.
