Frozen blast cycle

I am 29 and have had one fresh ivf cycle.  Currently on BCP and starting a frozen cycle scheduled for May.  Have any of you gone through with a frozen cycle?  How was it for you?  I will be using Lupron, EV, aspirin and BCP.  I have 6 frozen blasts and anticipate transferring 2.

May we ask what kind of diet changes you made?

I have 2yr old twins due to FET (blast). My fresh cycle with 1 blast did not work, 2 FET following that cycle did not work so took a break. Accupuncture treatments, diet change and finally 2 FET embies took and I still have 3 embies left. Good luck.

oopss!!!  I accidently post to waiting2cnceive instead of you! SORRY!!!

I just went in on Thursday for my u/s before my FET and my lining was thin also.  It was 5.9. My RE upped my estrace and I have to go back on Monday to see if it has thickened.  I just have to pray that I don't ovuate to early.  I was just wondering what your RE had told you?

Thanks and Sticky Babies to you!!!!

I had a failed fresh IVF last month and a FET on Thursday (I'm currently on bed rest). I had an ultrasound & blood work on day 2 of my period; I started estrogen pills and baby aspirin that night.  They gave me my schedule and I only needed to come back once for a lining check on day 10, I started 2 progesterone shots, antibiotics and a steroid on day 11 and transferred 2 5 day blastocysts on day 16.  I went down to one progesterone shot a day and added a prometrium suppository yesterday.
I know many people consider a FET “easier” but I don’t 100% agree with that. It was nice only having to go in once for u/s but during my lining check they found that it was very thin and I think with more monitoring they would have caught that quicker.  I also thought that two progesterone shots a day was crazy and the estrogen pills made me just as bla as any of the injectables HOWEVER  the best part it was 1/5 the cost so that really helps ;-)
Our little embryos thawed perfectly and since my clinic always does assisted hatching with a FET they were almost completely out of their shell. I think they look even better then the fresh embryos we transferred last month! I have read SOOOOO many articles and posts about sometimes FET works better then fresh for some people so I am really hopeful this is our time!
Take care and good luck!!!!

I have had 2 frozen cycles done.  The fist one I actually got BFP, but m/c'd due to uterus problems, my 2nd attempted produced a BFN, am currently waiting to try 3rd.  My embies were frozen pronuclear, and we have 11 left.  I wish you a Big Success with your frosty embies : )
