Frustrated,upset and lost. I need your feedback on ET.

Ok, I just got back from my RE appointment, and am very confused and don't know what to think.  We did a FET last month, Feb 15th, and it came up BFN.  I went today to make sure everything looked good for a ET on March 23rd, day 18 of my cycle.  My uterus measured at 5.9cm.  Well, RE wants me to come back for another ultrasound on Monday 22nd to see if it has thickened up enough to do ET...
He upped my estrace, but did not start me on Prometruim (progesterone).  They said they were not cancelling the transfer, and that they are trying to salvage it.  But, doesn't the FET need to be done within a certain # of days after ovulatioin?
I am so confused, upset and just lost right now.  Can someone please shed light onto this????  The other thing that confused me was he said my uterus looks "better" then it did last month, but that it just needed to thicken up a little more.  I had a hystroscopy *d&c" in October, and have been waiting for my uterus to heal from that since.  I also had a m/c last August.

Any help or advice you can give it greatly appreciated!!!!!

Ok ladies....YOU WERE ALL RIGHT!!!! I AM SOOOO HAPPY TO SAY!  Thank you so much for your kind, uplifting and postive words!!!
I wanted to give you an update to where I am today.  After my appointment on Thursday, I scowered the internet looking for ways to thicken my uterus. (crazy I know!) , Ended up drinking 3 cups of Raspberry Leaf Tea a day, rubbing the spot 2 inches below my belly button clockwise for 5 minutes a day, did what 10_07 told me about scooting my butt up against the wall with my legs in the air for 30 minutes, and also had my hubby do a fermoral massage for the past 3 days straight along with increasing my estrace by 4mg a day.... AND I have been praying about 500x's a day.
Well, I went to the RE this morning.... and my uterus went from 5.9mm to 8.5mm.  This is the best it has looked since before last May!!!  Yippee!!!! : )  
We are going to do our transfer on Friday!!!!!!  I am so blessed!!!!  I don't know what it was that worked.... but I am just so thankful that it did work!!!
  I am happy beyond words.  
It is truly the little things in life! ha ha!  Because, I ain't even pregnant yet! ha ha!
and... yes.... I will be doing all of these thing until Friday! ha ha!

I did my yoga pose last night!  My DH got a kick outta that!  Question thought, do I scoot my butt up again the floor and wall or am i kinda doing a "shoulder" stand, with my butt up against the wall too?  Just checking : )

Thank you ladies soooo much!  I am amazed by each and everyone of you on here!  I took your advice and spoke to the RE nurse this morning, she said my bloodwork yesterday was <4, which means that I have NOT ovulated yet, (that was at 2:45pm)   She was very optimistic that my appt on Mon will be ok... I hope so : )
I do feel much better now.  
Although, my car broke down on my way to work this morning.... now ladies, after yesterday... That almost sent me over the edge!!!  But I got it towed, my father-in-law brought me to work.... God Doesn't Give Us Anymore Than We Can Handle... Right???

NOw it is my turn to say everything will be great! I went in on Thursday, Lining was not thick enough, but close, so uped my estorgen to 3 X day THEN I only started Crinoine (prog) 3 days before the transfer, and only 3 days before, I dont know what the procedure is anywhere else, but it is only started after lining is thick enough!!  I am pretty sure that is the norm. When you go back on Monday and your uterus is ready, then you should start your prog Thursday and have the transfer Saturday. Like I said that is the way they do it here!!  I believe you will be ready and that this will be your time!!  Take your own advice that you have given so many of us here, and we appreciate it so much!!  Much much baby dust and stickkieness!!!  Louise xox

Progesterone can lengthen your tww since it tricks your body into thinking you are pregnant so ET can be a few days late.

Thanks for the support ladies : )  It is ok if we don't do our FET this month,
  I just don't understand how we could possibly still do it this month.  I just felt like my RE didn't know I as there for my pre-transfer appt....It just seemed like he thought I was there for a pre-pre appt.  I just left feeling confused, that's all.
They were suppose to thaw the embies on Monday, and do transfer tues.  I read on one site they can do it 7 days past ovulation, so I guess there is a small small window.  I am so mixed up right now.... I have no one to talk to about this and I feel like banging my head against the wall!  
I am soooo going to do the yoga pose!  
I miscarried last Aug and do not want to m/c again.

I dont know much about ET or FET, but if you have questions you should call your RE and get your answers. You are paying A HECK OF A LOT of money and deserve to have answers to these questions. I know when I had a thin lining I also started baby aspirin and did that yoga pose where yyou scoot your butt against the wall and put your legs straight up and then try to stay there for 20-30 minutes. and took estrace, and when I went back 3 days later my lining was super thick! CALL your RE so you dont have to stress!!!

Well! I don't know about natural cycle. In my case, I started estrace (4mg/day) from the second day of my period and had u/s once a week. after three weeks my lining was around 8 (after they increased the estrace dose). Then I started progesterone. I know how frustrated it could be but if I were you I would be more patient. You have waited so long that a month or so won't make a big difference.instead, you'll have a stable and smooth pregnancy. When my fresh ivf cycle ended up with m/c, I cried for a month, no one even my DH couldn't understand how much I suffered. Then when I started my FET, I kept begging GOD that if it's not the right time, don't give me a baby b/c I can't bear another m/c.
Now your uterus has to be ready to keep the fetus for 9 months otherwise you may get pregnant but may m/c later. Which one is more painful? waiter a little bit longer or....?

The only problem is.... they did a natural cycle this time.  My ovaries aren't shut down!  I am so discouraged!   I know my lining is almost there, so why did he postpone?  UGH!  He upped my estrace from 6mg to 10mg a day.  I'm sure that will help.  
I also read online that they give viagra now (vaginally) to thicken up the uterus.  I think I am going to call and leave a message to see if we can try that.  But, I am upset because if he doesn't check it until Monday, are we still going to have a "window" to transfer in!  UGH!!!!

DO NOT panic! It's exactly the same as my case. I did FET last month and am 6w/6d pregnant now. For FET, you're not supposed to ovulate in fact, your ovaries are shut down. Similar to you, my uterus lining was low and they increased estrace from 4 to 6mg/day and measured my uterus lining in a week. I believe the lining should be around 8 cm ( and yours is almost there) until you start progesterone.. I'm going for another u/s tomorrow and will see me RE as well. I'll definitely ask about the "glue" thing. I would strongly recommend you to see a acupuncturist as soon as possible. IT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE in the lining off your uterus but make sure that they are infertility specialist. Your RE should know some around your area. My RE always asks his pateints to do acupuncture for IUI and IVF. Good luck and keep me posted.
