Going 'natural'...no more clomid!

Hi ladies, after the return of AF 3 days ago and the complete depression i decided to speak with a psycologist (something i refused to do till now) and follow a naturalistic remedy which he perscribed me.
He does not believe in pharmacle interventions and moreover in my case because i do ovulate hence i do not need clomid to stimulate something that already happens on its own.
What i will be taking are pills that are nothing more than indian herbs that help eliminate stress and re-balance the inner body temperature especially 'down there'. Funny, he says with a hot temperature inside it is more difficult to have a fertilized egg implant because the heat takes away the cervical mucus and that is what's needed to help transport the fertilized egg through the endemetrio and to the uturus where it implants.
I have to concentrate on healing my wound and getting my body balanced for a new pregnancy so i won't force it any longer to over produce eggs...no more playing magician with my body.
Thanks all for your support,
it always helps
Silvia

Going natural this month too. Hey - I am always cold. Oh for Pete's sake now I have to get a "snuggie" to keep my uterus warm. LOL. There is nothing that surprises me anymore and almost nothing I won't try. Good luck ladies!!!!!

Hi Si_di.  I completely understand how you are feeling. I also ovulate on my own but my doctor wanted me to take clomid so i would release more than one egg and increase my chance of at least one egg being ferilized and implanting.   I was on clomid for one month but it didnt work well. I released two eggs but my uterine lining could not support pregnancies because it was so thin.  The month AFTER clomid I actually did get pregnant but it did not stick.  So this month i'm on Femara.  Hopefully that helps.

I too, am thinking of seeing a psychologist.  This gets very depressing month after month.

One funny thing is that I have been seeing an acupuncturist and he tells me that my uterus is too COLD and THAT is why i cant conceive and that is why I have no Cervical mucous.  He tells me to stay as WARM as possible during the TWW and to be very careful not to catch a chill!

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear you have a plan.  Sometimes it just feels better to have a plan in mind instead of just BDing and hoping.

Gigi
