HCG LEVELS

Hello everyone, I have been on a rollercoaster ride with our little "embie". Having got through the dreaded 2ww, we got the wonderful test result BFP!! only to be frightened the next day when I started bleeding, red blood, no cramps but like a medium period. Anyway did another test, still positive, and another test the following day, still postive. I am still lightly bleeding so had a dr appointment today to get it sorted and make sure i wasnt having mc and to check hcg and progesterone levels(make sure not dropping). dr rang and said levels were 39 progesteronean 186 hcg. she said these were rising levels and ok. but alot of these posts reveal many other ladies with much higher hcg levels at just 4 weeks pregnant. does anyone esle have such low levels and and have experienced this hormonal/breakthrough bleeding . if you have , how long did you continue to bleed. thank you really appreciate your comments.

If you are still bleeding you should take it easy and your doctor should monitor you every other day. Hcg level is different for every person but if yours are still rising then you are good. The level should double every 48 hours. Bleeding doesn't mean bad news for every women. Just take it easy and see your doctor more often

okay my level at 5 weeks was 4900.  I am also due on Christmas. Go back Friday for another ultrasound.  numbers are just numbers, stress less and relax.

186 is great for 4 weeks pg.  my first hcg was 445 at 18dpo (which is 4.5 weeks)
as long as you are continuing to double, things are likely ok.  some women bleed more than others...
hang in there until that 6 week US....
