HCG levels Go down

Okay so in august my period came 4 days late and lasted 3 day almost normal cycle..in september i didnt get my period at all so i took 5 pregnacy test all differant day and time of day they all came back positive.. well now being October i started my period agian.. i went to the dr she told me i was Pregnant i got my blood work done she said that my hcg levels were at a 18 and that i need to come back in 2 day to see if they have doubled i got my blood work done again and my level went down to a 6 she told me its not good i ask if that means i am miscarry or is there somthing wrong she didnt give me any more anwser and she had the office cancell my ultrasound so what does that mean im confused? Thanks

Hay ya, first i'm really sorry for your lost. I no this is going to be hard for you but if your HCG levels are droping it is a sign of a lost. Your Dr want tell you that it is a lost until your HCG levels are back at 0. It suck heaps because all you want is a "yes your still preggie" or a "no i'm sorry it looks as though you are misscarring" Because you sound like yourls be 4-5 weeks along and only have a HCG level of 6 that is low as most preggie test test at HCG level of 25 so if you took a test now it most likly would be negative. You should still ask for a ultrasound just to be safe as there could still be somthing in there that may cause problems later on. I am so sorry for your lost xxx

she should be the one to tell you. thats very rude leaving you not knowing what is going on. if they lower and you have blood that means you maybe miscarrying. cancelling the ultrasound was maybe in case it is true. only time can tell what happens. just keep an eye on things below, your body should tell you. some people still have periods and carry full time. let me know how you get on, good luck xo
