I am going to be in the 2WW starting on Monday! My first IUI is at 8:30 on monday morning. We will be a couple days off but thats ok! I have four follicles, one was at 21, and the others were 15, 13 and 16 I think. (I would have to get up to make sure and I am comfy on my couch! LOL!) I just did my Novarel (trigger) an hour ago. Are those numbers good from your husband? I know nothing about that....I will find out what my DH's is on monday. As far as your timing goes, if you do a trigger I don't think it matters. It makes you ovulate even if your body isn't ready to...right?
The shot makes you ovulate but I think the timing of the shot vs. the IUI is still important. Of course, that is just a guess.
I think my dr. said that any "washed" number over 10mil is good and I think I read online that 35mil increases likelyhood. I don't know if it makes much of a difference beyond that. Did you have any treatments with your 3 or is this the first time going through this?
Good luck (!!!) tomorrow. Hope it goes well and that it is SUCCESSFUL!!!! I'll be "waiting" with you!
I feel really confident about tomorrow! For *^ts and giggles I did a OPK test this morning and it was for sure positive! Yesterday I did one in the morning and it was negative. So the trigger did work. Which I knew it would but it was kind of nice to confirm it. When I get my IUI it will be 36 hours after the trigger. Probably by the time they wash everything it will be 38-39 hours. So we should be all good! I am hoping at least!
I had NO treatments with my other three....I was fertile Myrtle. It is very puzzling. DH is all good and so am I as far as HSG and bloodwork. My cycle is every 28 days on the nose...so wierd. We have been trying for 9 months now! It is definitly wierd. I will let you know how everything goes when I get home tomorrow! We have a two hour drive plus it is a time zone away, so we actually lose an hour going. We have to leave here at 5:15 am. YUCK! Take care and I will let you know DH's numbers...you will have to tell me if they were good or not....
Hey there! I just wanted to check in on you and see how you made out today. Hope it went well and that you are getting some rest. Although with 3 kids is that even a possibility???? Anyway, I'm thinking about you and hope everything today was positive for you!!!
Hey! I did ok! The procedure was fairly easy but I am really sore...crampy and just feel yuck. I work from home so I am pretty much sitting all day on my laptop. (That's the reason I can reply in like 5 minutes!) Anyway, we have a good feeling about it! It sucks this is your second. I hope this works the first time. My RE thinks it is all timing with me. I don't know how when my cycle is 28 days TO THE DAY every month, but DH is all good and I have nothing else going on to make us not be able to conceive, so I guess it could be that. So I am hoping this procedure works. What is going on with you? Do you have PCOS or something? Or is yours pretty much unexplained like mine? How are you feeling....still crampy or anything?
Hey!! I'm so glad it went well. And I am sending positive thoughts! I have endo - which I didn't know I had until two years ago (asymptomatic) but now I've had two surgeries in two years and no luck getting pregnant. It's discouraging bc we waited to have kids bc my DH has had health problems. Now I wish he hadn't waited. But it is what it is, right? I think we are going to try two cycles of this and then move on to adoption. I don't know that I can handle IVF. After trying and being disappointed each month (and now add the cost of treatment on top of it!) I think I'm going to give it a good effort (because I would like to carry a biological child) but then move on (because I know there are a lot of kids who need parents). But hopefully this one will work to completion. My dr. had me go in for a bloodtest on day 28 last month. I tested so low that it wouldn't have shown on a HPT. I would have waited to test again but would have just gotten my period without even having known that I was technically pregnant. I think that would have been easier... although they say that it was a good sign that it at least worked....
I am feeling bloated and sore. I told my DH that I feel like my ovaries are going to fall out. (He doesn't appreciate the way I can create that vivid imagery!) I work from home, too. Well, I work out of my house so I did have to go out today but not for long. We're lucky in that regard, aren't we? Because we can just drop everything and be at the dr. when we need to be. I don't know how people do this when they have to be at an office everyday. Two u/s, two blood tests, and an IUI each month is a lot of time to juggle!
I feel like we should move to private messages instead of posting but I really have no idea how this thing works so....
I'm glad it went well for you. After my first one I felt perfectly fine the next day. This one is just complicated by the multiple follicles. So hopefully you'll be 100% tomorrow....
I will just send you a message....so it isn't posted. I think you can just reply to that?
