HSG pain 2 weeks later

i had an HSG this month on the 10th. It has been more than 2 weeks and I still get painful cramps in my ovary area. i had surgery to remove cysts april 2004. i dont have an infection, my dr took bloodwork. why do i still hurt so bad? it hurts more when my bladder is full or if i eat and i'm full.

i went to my dr today and he gave me antibiotics. i have a pretty good relationship with him and his entire office (they know me by name and call to check up). i am taking depot-lupron for the last 6 months so it shouldnt be any new cysts (i am hormone-lacking because of the medications) so i have no estrogen to feed cyst growth. i had blood work done and it showed no infection but my dr says that bloodwork doesnt always show small infections and to nip it in the bud and got my antibiotics. about to go pick them up now...

thanks for response :)

You should call your doctor.  An HSG should cause little to no pain (i had some minor cramping that evening).  And it certainly shouldn't be causing pain 2 weeks afterwards.  Perhaps you have another cyst or maybe it's ovulation pain?
