Has anyone had FF change your O date ??? Frustrating !

I thought I was 10 DPO today.  I O'd on Wed. 5/7, but this morning FF changed my O date to Fri., 5/9.  I don't understand why that happened !?  Has this happenend to anyone else?  I O'd when I normally do, around CD 16.  I had a positive opk CD 15, but then a negative CD 16.  All of my signs point to O'g on CD 16 and I had O pain/cramps that day, too.  Has anyone gotten a negative opk and then O'd two days later than the negative?  It's strange to me that it would change my date so late in the game.  So, should I just assume FF is wrong or should I change to now being 8 DPO??  My cycles have been 28 days & if I change my O date, then AF will be expected way too early.  Ugh !  I'm so confused now !

Helen72: Yes, that's what FF told me, too.  I now agree that their change is correct.  It just caught me offguard.  I normally O the day I get a negative, after I get a positive opk.  So, I wasn't thinking that it could actually happen 48 or so hours later !  It all makes sense now :)

Heather5:  I put my temps into the ovulation tracker on medhelp.  Now, looking at my temps without a coverline, I can totally see that Fri, 5/9 is when I O'd !  I was going by my cm, opks & the ovulation pain I had.  I guess you can get O pain a few days before you O.  I am still learning as I go !!!

Yeah, I've had FF change my O date before too. But you know what? If you had a positive OPK the day before you originally thought you ovulated and had ovulation pain the following day, I think you're right and that FF might be wrong in this case.

If you want, you could post your chart, so we can take a look at it...

I had ff change O date on me once.  Often times when more data is entered the pattern becomes more clear.  Since BBT tells you retrospectively that you O'd, to figure out the best time to bd I found OPKs to be MUCH more useful.

I've calmed down since this morning :)  Now, I actually think FF is right & I O'd on Fri., 5/9 instead of Wed. 5/7.  So, I would only be 8 DPO today.  The only frustration is that we BD'd every other day -- Fri, Sun, Tues & then I thought I O'd on Wed.  (Needless to say, we didn't BD Wed-Fri.!)  So, hopefully BD'ing on Tues is good enough for O on Fri.
I guess I'll know soon enough !
