Ectopic pregnancy

Can anyone please help, it will be 3 weeks room since I had my right tube removed due to an ectopic pregnancy, I am up and about doing the usual chores after having really taken it easy for just under 2 weeks. I am still bleeding, but only when I have been for a wee. My tummy is still swollen and worse at night, I feel and look 6 month pregnant, which is really uncomfortable. My scars are healing nicely, and I don't feel so much pain now just uncomfortable. Is this normal, should I be worried, will the swelling go down and the bleeding stop, this is really starting to get me down.

Thanks

T

Hi there,
After ectopic pregnancy lining of the uterus is shed. There may be clotty, heavy dark vaginal bleeding which may look like periods. This bleeding can continue for up to six weeks and there may be pain or discomfort for several weeks afterwards as the healing process continues and scarring continues to heal. If the symptoms are severe and persistent it is advisable to contact your gynecologist and discuss your concerns. I hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
