How many people in this forum are trying to get preg for the first time?

Wondering how many ladies are trying to  have their first baby.I have been trying for over 2 years now.I am on clomid and metformin, have lost 40 lbs from 187 lbs, I am 145 lbs now(I am 5 ft 7 1/2 in). Done all this to get preg. Food habits are completely organic too.I am doing all I can.

Still waiting for baby No 1.All the beat to you ladies.

I'm trying to get pregent for the first time and I'm on clomid and I'm on my thrid cycle but i'm not pregant yet but I'm ovula right now my last day is Jan 11th. I'm keeping my fingers cross.

8th Cycle of TTC  unfortunately, I just got my period 2days ago....I will take my 2nd CD3-7 clomid tonight,  though my MC is driving me nuts..I was 30 then 32 now 36. hopefully this will be the best time for us.

I wish everyone here will get what they wished for.......may this 2008 be the lucky year for all of us.

I am trying for my second.  This is my sixth cycle of trying.  I had no problem with number one, which makes this so frustrating!  My doctor has me taking Robitussin for my cervical mucus....I just ovulated, later than I thought, we are going to see if/when my period comes.  I may have Luteal Phase Defect...anyone here have it and go on to conceive through Clomid?  I think that is my next step....Good Luck to All....

My husband and I have been trying for 10 months. My doc just put me on Glucophage or Metformin(generic) to treat me for PCOS. (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) I dont have regular cycles. I have had one natural period in 10 months. I have heard that this Glucophage will help you lose weight by controlling the insulin in your body, which is a nice side effect. I have heard great things about the medicine, and I am going to start tomorrow. I am struggling with the incertainty that I will never become a mom... its frusturating but I have to remember that God opens and closes the womb in this time... but in the mean time I am going to be on Metformin! :)

I am trying for my first, however I haven't had a period in 2 1/2 years, went to the doctor, and he was unable to help, so he sent me to a gynecologist, who then diagnosed me with PCOS. Turns out I've had it ever since I've been having periods...my cycles were never regular...I started having periods at age 11, so yeah. my gyn prescribed me two months ago with 200mgs of prometrium, and it did not work at all, so this month he gave me 400mgs of prometrium, and I'm on day 4 of the meds, and I'm supposed to take it for twelve days. I hope it works this round, last time I didn't ovulate...I hope I do this time. Once I have a period he's switching me to Clomid, that is, if I ovulate... I wish you the best

Hi, I am trying for last 3 yrs or so...and now preparing myself for ICSI...Most prob it will be done in March...Till then my husband and i am on medication...Good luck ladies...
