Okay, so to update everyone - I had my first beta on 3/4. The clinic called and said it was positive. But gave no numbers. Second beta on 3/7 and they confirmed pregnancy. But again, didn't give the numbers. So today, I finally gave in and called the clinic and asked for my hcg level numbers. The first beta test (which was 9 days post transfer) was 63 and the next beta test (12 days post transfer) was 258! So I'm guessing those are good numbers?? Seems like they are, so I was very happy and relieved to hear it!
Thanks for all the support!
Do you also have to wait 7 days after the Beta to confirm pregnancy? I assume they should also be able to tell from the Beta test if your hcg levels are between 9 - 47. Good luck tomorrow!
Man, am I exhausted again today! My beta is tomorrow. I'm so nervous about it! (Especially since the last try with IVF it was a BFN.) Hoping, hoping, hoping!
I was so exhausted tonight that I went to sleep at 6:30. I woke up at 11:00 and now I'm wide awake! (But still tired!) :)
Thank you! I wish you the best of luck as well!!
I also have sore breasts and have had mild-ish pain and cramping in my lower abdomen. But I think it's because of the progesterone and estrogen shots my husband is giving me. But this fatigue - I didn't experience this the last round of IVF (back in December, which was unsuccessful) that we did.
Hi -
We seem to be on the same schedule. This is my first round of ttc, I had an HCG shot on 2/23 and i took a pregnancy test 4 days later. Yes,I know it was too soon but i was curious of the results and of course it was positive. I go for my Beta on on 3/4/11 and my Pregnancy test on 3/11.
My sleep schedule has alos been really off and I've been extremely exuasted by 9pm every night. On top of that I have all the pregnancy symptoms and mild pain on the bottom left and right of my lower abdomen, breast are huge and I have become very emotional. I'm assuming it's the side effects of the HCG shot I took on 2/23.
I wish you the best of luck for a BFP!
