HELLO PEOPLE, I HAVE A QUESTION THAT HOPEFULLY SOMEONE HAS GONE THRU THIS,  I HAD MY EGG RETRIVAL MAY 3 THEY TRANSFER 2 EMBRYOS ON MAY 7 WHICH IS 4 DAYS AFTER AN ONE EMBRYO WAS 8 CELLS AND THE OTHER ONE MEDULA, MY 1ST BETA WAS 25 2ND 46 3RD 169 AND MY LAST ONE 800. IS MY BETA LOW LIKE MY DR TELLS ME I WILL BE GETTING A U/S THIS WEDS IM SCARED THAT IT MIGHT BE A CHEMICAL PREG

Hi Joie, the nurse told me that as long as the 1st beta not lower than 5, and the readind of 2nd beta which is 2days later is double up. Its good. Dont lose your hope! My first beta was 1,150 and gone up to 2,400. Im really happy but still nervous until ive done the ultrasound scan. My scan is next Tuesday.

You didn't include when the blood tests were taken, but your numbers seem to be increasing like they should (doubling every 2-3 days)! It's been a while since I did my IVF (three years ago), but I just looked it up, and as a comparison, my two blood tests were:

10 days after 5-day transfer: 145
12 days after 5-day transfer: 483

I also transferred two, and gave birth to one healthy baby girl nine months later. Best of luck with everything!
