I got preggers on my third IUI.  Sometimes it takes some tweaking of your meds to get things just right.  My first IUI was w/ clomid 50 mg and ended up with only one follie.  Second IUI we raised the clomid, to 100 and i had two follies.  Then on my 3rd try at IUI, we did clomid (100)+low dose injectibles (kind of like your protocol) and had 3-4 follies for the IUI and it worked!  Good Luck!

Well I had my IUI yesterday...everything went good there. Except for the cramps that followed. I am trying not to get my hopes up high but I am so excited. Please keep me in your prayers and I will keep you all posted. Today is 2dpiui

Well, after DH and I got married, we decided to "really" start trying since i have a large history of endo and pcos. I had a lap done in March 2006 and saw our RE April 2006. I didn't take any meds, just monitored my cycle by bloodwork. Did one IUI that cycle - a week later I was throwing up and had terrible cravings - my IUI worked on the first try!!!
It's just a matter of luck and how everything is all lined up in your body.
This time we've been trying for 1.5 years with meds and IUI...We just find the strength to keep trucking along though...

Good Luck and let us know!!

I got BFP on my first IUI, but it didn't work out.  The 3rd one stuck and my son is 10 months old.  We are now doing IUI again for a second child.

congrats, I hope you get your BFP the first try.

hello my name is Nikki and on Dec 17th i to had my first IUI done. I took 100mg of clomid Gonal-f and also the ovidrel shot. It was a stress filled time for myself unfortunately my first try didn't work. I am sure there are plenty of people that it worked the first time. I wish you lots of luck. I myself am getting ready for my 2nd IUI.

I haven't been thru it myself. I know there are several ladies here that have. I don't recall how many it worked for on the 1st try. Hopefully, someone that has done it will pop in. It seems to be a slow posting day.
