Hi all,
Im new on this discussion board although I have posted on others. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 2 and a half years with no luck. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have two rounds of clomid with no luck.
Hubby and I have been referred to a fertility clinic and will be seeing the specialist. I am not too sure what to expect because I have heard there is IUI and IVF. Im not sure what will be recommended and whether one is preferred/more successful than the other?
Please help!!
I so badly want a baby just like all of you out there. I wish you all the best.
Baby dust to you all.
Hi
I'm also in the same boat. I'm going for a third scan to check how my follies have grown. So far it looks good i had 2 follies on the left and 4 on the right of which 2 of them were already 12mm on cd7. Hopefully on friday if it grew i might have to go in for IUI on Monday. This will be my first IUI and i'm also on 50mg clomid which i hope would boost the process.
Baby dust to all
I have had 2 IUI's, and neither one worked for me. I only produced 1 follie each time though. I was on Clomid various cycles... have an appointment with my RE on Friday to discuss the option of injectables to get better results hopefully! Best of luck!
We had our IUI this morning. 8:30 am-- His post wash was only 4.0 but count i think was about 12ml. everything seemed to go great. Re said motility was excellent though i dont know the #'s.
I have been spotting all morning , not alot, cramping and feel very bloated.. Twinges of pain on right side where the good follies were. Re positioned the cath to slant to the right..so hoping for success.. what were your side effects?? This was our first completed IUI so I have no idea really what to expect for the next 2 weeks
Hi, I got pregnant with my son on our 4th IUI. We had 3 mature follies. He is now almost 2 and we are trying for our 2nd. We have had 2 IUI's this time and so far it hasn't worked. I go in for my follicle count ultrasound tomorrow and am expecting our IUI to be Thurs or Friday. Good luck!
