IUI?
What does IUI stand for, I should probably know but I am new to all of this. If someone could inlighten me I'd appreciate it.

Thank you. I started Clomid and I will be getting my Trigger Shot Wednesday, so I'm excited. We have been trying for four years and finally something is happening in that direction :-)

Intrauterine Insemanation. Basically they take the guy's sperm and "wash" it (remove the bad ones) then they inseminate you with it after you've been on a course of fertility drugs. It is a beginning treatment but works for some. It is much less invasive and costly than IVF. I think it can be used for minor male factor infertility, PCOS or lack of ovulation, mild endometriosis, unknown infertility, etc.
Once you go to a RE and get all your tests - they will suggest what treatment is appropriate for you.
