IVF in January

I wanted to start a thread for people starting IVF in January.  I'm already on birth control and doing the catheter trial next Friday.  My doc says I will start the Lupron shots on Jan. 20th.  Anyone else in the same boat?

I just got the call! I'm for sure pregnant and my beta ia really good, it's a 216!!

I know this was your shot, so I am super excited for you!  97 is great!  Congratulations!  Looking forward to hearing Friday's numbers!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  know you are in our prayers and i admire your positive attitude.  I, too, look forward to hearing good news from you one day in the very near future!

Allgood427---that sounds like a great number to me-congratulations! I have a friend that works in an IVF clinic and she said that anything over 50 for the first count is good, and 100 is amazing, so you sound like you're doing great!

Well, I had my second hcg count today and it went from 24 to 5, so we're done.  I am ok at this point, and I will just need to take it day by day.  I'm hoping that my two girls will serve as a comfort for me.

Thanks for the well wishes!!  Got my first beta - 97.  Not sure if I'm super happy about it, but my nurse was pleased and said not to worry.  I would have liked for it to be higher, but the biggest thing is that it doubles!  I go back Friday morning.

Does everyone think 97 is good?  I'm 15 days post ER so right at 4 weeks.
