got my FSH result and it was 9.4. The doc said he does not like it when its above 9. I'm bummed. I guess my ovarian reserve is diminished..
I guess our daughter was truly our miracle baby.....
IVF shared risk program... NCCRM where my doctor is has a shared risk program. Looks like total cost is about $20,000 for three IVF attempts. If no pregnancy occurs then they will refund $12,500 if your under 34. I'm not sure where you are located, but I thought I'd share a program that's in effect and maybe your doctor would do something similar.
thanks for the replies. i will get my fsh, lh and estridol results today but wont get my second amh until next week sometime. its hard b/c if my amh is up then why the difference? b/c he said if i my amh is really .6 then i only have a 35% chance of IVF working and we won't gamble that kind of money ona 35% chance of success. but if its up then he said i have a 60% chance of it working. but then i wonder why the different results and it would make me nervous too.. i'mso confused right now... :( and sad.
My AMH too is 0.3. fingers crossed. second ivf result awaiting with only one embryo transferred
I know what you mean. I'm 29 and I found out that my AMH was at a low satisfactory level and I just didn't get that everything else was normal. It's the only thing irregular and it stinks! Don't lose hope though, I've read many blogs with women that have had a .3 AMH and they got pregnant. I also spoke with my doctor and she said that it doesn't mean you won't have a baby, it will just be a little harder. Good luck!
Do you know your FSH? AMH does sound low to me, AFC count could different at different times in the month. 27 sounds promising. The second re-draw might clarify the situation better. Dont be too worried and let's wait and watch. Take care. Good luck.
