Welcome!   Good luck on your transfer.   Is this your first one?   The transfer is easy.  Just a little discomfort from the speculum but the rest you don't feel.   The hardest part is having a full bladder and them pushing on you stomach.
I will be sending lots of baby dust your way!

I am new to this group, and am wanting to be support, and get some.  A little about me.. I have been ttc for 3 years.  Found out I have premature ovarian failure, with no working ovaries or follicles.  Decided to do Donor Egg IVF, but can only afford it this one time.  Very nervous, but excited for the next step of trying.  I have 6 little embryos at the RE, and have been told they are all doing well.  2 grade 1, and the other 4 grade 2.  I am waiting to go in for my 5day transfer on Wed 8/29/12.  I am nervous, but excited.  Don't really know what to expect.

Oh... and I asked my RE about what my pain was all about this morning-  I was not constipated-   hence my laxative nightmare!   ha ha.  My RE thinks I ruptured one of the corpus luteum's in my ovary.

Hope everyone is doing well!   Today was such a long day.   I had an interesting morning.  I woke up ok but about 1 hour later I had excruciating abdominal pain that radiating to my rectum and perineum.  It was burning and very sudden onset.  It lasted 30 min then gave me a break and started up again.  It was so awful.   I couldn't even sit or get comfortable.  I was in tears and my husband didn't know what to do for me.   I thought maybe i was constipated-  sorry for the TMI-   but this was a major issue for me last time.   So I took some natural laxatives.
I then had my acupuncture appointment at 10am.   Then my transfer at 12pm.  I was ready to go with my full bladder just waiting for the doctor... when all of a sudden the laxatives hit me.  I was in such a panic because I didn't want to empty my bladder.  I had no choice but to go to the bathroom.  It was so embarrassing .  The nurse told me to only empty half my bladder.  I was horrified to have to tell her it wasn't my bladder that was the problem.  Ugh what  day.     Note to self!  Never take laxatives before procedure!  ha ha.

Anyways..... Egg transfer went well after that.  I transferred one 8 cell and two 3-4 cell.   Then I went and had another acupuncture treatment.  By then the valium had really kicked in and I fell asleep.

Thanks for the note.  This whole journey would be impossible without the support on here!   How have you been doing?   Have you had your follow up appointment with your RE yet?

My ET is scheduled for tomorrow at 12pm.   I don't know how many I will have until I get there tomorrow.  I find it challenging to stay positive after my RE called yesterday.

I have been trying to stay busy.   I have a baby shower in two weeks and my niece and nephews birthday in 3 weeks.   The timing is gonna be a challenge with all this.   I decided to get all the gifts yesterday cause I know the next 2 weeks are going to be the hardest.
