Laparotomy 3 months & TTC

I am new to this forum and have a question for anyone who may have experienced this.... I had a 21 cm mass removed along with my right ovary and part of my left in November 07. I am 36 yrs old and I have been ttc for about 3 years. I did not have AF until the end of January 08 and have been ttc since 2 weeks after the surgery. Well AF was supposed to happen last week and it did not... i took a  hpt on that day and it was BFN. I have yet to have AF and can't get the courage to try and test again for fear I will get another BFN. Has anyone else had this same experience and were you ever able to conceive?

Thanks so much. I know everyone here is kind of in the same boat and it is so reassuring to hear when others are successful conceiving. Thanks for the kind words.... it is also helpful to talk to others who are trying to achieve the same goal.
