Looking for blocked tube buddies

Hi! I'm new at this so I thought I'd try to start a new thread for all of us who are new and don't know anyone... I am struggling with infertility because of an ectopic pregnancy that damaged one of my tubes. I have been trying to conceive since then (for almost 2 years now) to no avail. We did IVF in february and they transfered 2 embies but none took unfortunatly. I was hearbroken (and 8000$ poorer).

I will be 37 in May and I am a little freaked out about this situation. Although I have a beautiful 3-year-old son, I wish to give him a brother or sister so that he is not alone as I was (I am an only child, so is my husband LOL)

I am on my first cycle of Clomid 100mg, CD8. I am hopeful that this will be my miracle drug and that I will soon start a sucess story thread!

Now you know everything about me, please tell me about you so that together we can comfort each other through this difficult time... and not burden our husbands with our stress and worries (my husband doesn't feel the importance of having a second child as I do)

Thanks! Can't wait to read your stories!
Isabelle

Hi Ladies,

I had my HSG test done on july 29th 2011. I found out that both my tubes were blocked, and that is why i was not able to get pregnant, i also suffer from PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I'm 27 years old. My fertility doctor decided to do the test to rule out anything. It came back blocked. I was heartbroken and sad when i found this out. They told me the only course of action i had at having a baby was IVF. He went in and did a LAP surgery and found that the only reason my tubes were blocked was because my bowels were attached to my fallopian tubes. He separeted them and the fluids that were built up relased and my tubes are 100 percent pefrect!I'm on my first round of clomid induction so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that this works!!!!

Hi,
I am 30 going on 31 in a few weeks. *** soon as I get my period, I have to take that dye test to find out if my tubes are blocked. My period should be coming any day now, so I should test within the next two weeks. I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years and found out that I may have endometriosis, but since I have a lot of scar tissue around my belly button, they can not do the lap test. It is a lot of money, especially if you do not get pregnant. I was pregnant in October and miscarried as soon as I found out I and my doctor beleive it may have been an ectopic pregnancy. I am so sad, we want a baby so bad and my clock is ticking fast, so I am going to go for it this year. I will keep you posted. Take care and God Bless!
