I have arranged at my docs to have the inplant taken out, as I don't want to get pregnant just yet due to careers I'm going on the pill I'm hoping my periods will come back then. I'll keep you posted to see what happens.
Hello,
Implanon causes you periods to become fewer and lighter and in few women may stop altogether. I would advise you to get the Implanon removed. After removal, a woman’s ability to become pregnant returns quickly. In fact few women may become pregnant within days after removal of the contraceptive implant. In case you fail to conceive within few months of implanon removal you may need evaluation for secondary infertility. It can be due to male and female factors both. Impaired sperm production in males while fallopian tube damage, ovulation disorders, endometriosis and uterine conditions all can lead to these conditions.Aging, smoking, alcohol ingestion too can affect fertility. Take care of other factors which affect fertility like weight reduction and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Consult an infertility expert. Keep us posted.
Best of luck and regards!
