Need input.. .possible ectopic?
This is my 6th pregnancy and I have 1 duaghter at home. (goes like this.... early m/c, then birth of my daughter, then ectopic, then d/c 9.5wks, then d/c 8.5wks, now this pregnancy)
I went in today (5wks 3days) b/c after intercourse this morning i was bleeding. Spotting, like when I wiped 3 times it was bright red then nothing. I also had cramping and bad pain on my right side that has become a lot duller throughout the day.
Went in this afternoon and had lab (hcg went to 1100 from 81 last week - doc said it rose like a "normal" pregnancy) Then had u/s where they thought they saw a right sided ectopic pregnancy in my tube closer to my uterus but the radiologist wasn't 100% sure. Went so see the doc in tears after all of my losses...
My previous ectopic was different int he fact that my hcg never rose normally but this one has.
He said b/c the radiologist isn't 100% sure he wants to wait and see on Friday for another lab, u/s, and appt.
He brought up the idea of maybe having twins (one inside my uterus, one in my tube) although its rarre. I did use Clomid this month to get pregnant.
Anyone have similar situation and it worked out ok?

it was ectopic...got methotrexate today...now we have 5 angels in heaven waiting for us......

I really hope things are going to be ok for you. The numbers rising normally are a really good sign. The fact that the radiologist wasn't sure is also perhaps a good thing.
I am glad they are not rushing into anything but are also watching you closely now.

When I had my ectopic my number started low and did not really rise like they should have. Doc could tell that it was ectopic, but my tube ruptured before treatment. Once my side (also my right) started hurting, the pain never went a way though. I am 33 weeks pg with twins now and I had a lot of bleeding and spotting in the beginning, up until about 14 weeks. The first time the bleeding started I was sure I had m/c as I bled through my clothes in minutes and was crampy. With my now 2 year old, I NEVER had any bleeding or spotting. I don't know if I was any help to you, put try to think positive every pregnancy is different!
