Needing advise on TTC after miscarriage

Hello everyone, I just have a few questions about TTC after a miscarriage.
I had a m/c on Dec 14. had to have an emergency D & C. Does having a D&C cause any problems later?
How long should i wait to try again?
what vitamins are good to take when trying to conceive?
Im not looking to get pregnant right away. Im still very upset about losing my baby and i feel i need to heal more mentally. right now I am terrified to get pregnant again for fear of losing another baby.
Are these feelings normal?

So sorry for your loss, my miscarriage was in October. My dr advised waiting 3-6 months and to take folic acid each day.  He said it's important to get that folic acid in becaus by the time you know you are pregnant, the baby has already developed it's spinal cord and nervious system.

I've had three miscarriages and I had a D&C in April after a partial molar pregnancy, I don't believe it affected my fertility at all though I did notice that I had much smaller clots and less cramping during my next period. We were told that we could try again after three months if my HcG dropped and for the most part most doctors will recommend 3-6 months.

When we decided to start trying again I went ahead and started taking my prenatals with 1000mg folic acid every day despite not being pregnant yet.

The way you're feeling is perfectly normal, with this pregnancy I waited a month after my missed period to even take a pregnancy test because I was convinced something would go wrong. I'm still terrified something will go wrong and I hate to say it but you'll probably live with that fear constantly. As women we love our children instantly and completely and losing one is the hardest thing in the world to overcome. I am happy to say that we're now at 14wks and a few days and everything looks fine. It's scary and you're going to be worried sick about your baby but it's totally worth it.
