I would take time off until after the pregnancy test.  I did and am very glad I did.  I am 7 days post transfer and today is the first day I could do much around the house without much difficulty.  There is a lot more pain than I thought.

Thanks! They were a good size on Monday but unfortunately today they were all about the same size. So they upped my meds and will go back on Friday for another scan.  I'm hoping that'll do the trick as I was on a pretty low dose because my AMH is pretty high.
You're so lucky!! I wish I could've started my IVF with a trip to Disney world!! Enjoy yourself!!

I am so excited. My HSN results were great. Dr said everything looks perfect. Also, I got all my meds today. There are so many injections. I leave to Disney World on Saturday and will start the Lupron next Sat when I return.

Susanwantsababy - I know it is tough to see that negative, but I think it is definitely too soon. I hope you get your bfp next time you test.

Azwoman - are you taking time off of work before the procedure or after. I have decided to take a weeks vacation after the transfer to reduce the stress. I thought about taking more time but this is my slowest time at work so it shouldn't be too stressful. Good luck! Keep us posted.

I am doing IVF here soon!!! Finally have most of the funds available. I do not feel I should get any more IUI's with my age and RE agrees. I am doing the Estrogen Priming Protocol,, started the pill last month (Lo-estrin) and will be doing a high dose of GonalF and Bravelle.  If anyone has any left over meds I would love to purchase them, please let me know.

I have a couple of small fibroids but neither gyn or RE are too concerned. I am so hoping for a good outcome. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I plan on taking some time off of work for this so I can reduce stress. My egg retrieval will probably be in March. I have never been on a high dose of injectables and RE thinks I will respond well. I have only done 150iu of Menopur (had one chemical preg and one BFN), so now we're on to IVF. I am single and doing this alone but I am excited. SSBD to all!!
