Ovidrel Question??

I was surfing the web trying to find my answer and I came upon this website. I am hoping someone out there can help with my question.  I am on my 3rd month of folistem injections.  I took my Ovidrel shot on Tuesday 5/20 and I am scheduled to go for my preg test 6/4.  I took 3 HPT over the last 3 days and got positive on all of them.  My doc still wants me to wait until 6/4 for my blood test they say it may be a false postive due to the Ovidrel.  What do you think the chances are of my test being correct???? Has anyone ran into this issue????

Yeah, Ovidrel is actually HCG, the same hormone your body produced during pregnancy. So a pregnancy test taken before the shot has gone through your system will turn out positive. I think they suggest waiting 10 days after the shot before testing.

Best of luck to you! I hope it's a BFP!!!

It could be a false positive. I would wait for 6/4. But don't get down, it could be a true postiive as well.
