confused about clomid

hello.  so i'm on my first cycle of clomid, today is CD14.  i've had 2 ultrasounds in the past week because i was nowhere near ovulation the first time i went (i have a regular 26 day cycle).  apparently my follicle is growing in 4 days what it should be growing in one day.  sooooo what does this mean??  am i not ovulating?  i go again thursday for another u/s to see if there has been anymore growth.  isn't clomid suppose to make your follicles grow?  i guess i'm just confused because after all my tests everything came back normal and now i'm on a fertility drug and there is an issue???  makes no sense.  anybody have any ideas?  thanks.

I've heard that 18-20 is what they like to see before triggering ovulation.  Sound like you might need a higher dose of Clomid or a move to injectables (IMO)

my follicle was 10 (not sure what those measurements are) and that was on CD13.  was on 50 mg of clomid.

I do not think clomid helps follicles grows.  I think clomid helps ovary stimulate and release eggs.

The more dose you are on clomid, the more stimulate the ovary.  becareful on clomid.  clomid does cause your uterus lining thin.

take care
