Well I found out Friday that it truly was a BFP. They wanted my HCG level to be around 75 and it came back 145 so they know it's a healthy pregnancy and I go back in on the 14th to see if it's multiples. Didnt think I'd get pregnant much less possibly have twins. I'm a bit overwhelmed thinking about it.
Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement. This has been quite a ride.
I agree with previous poster.. If you see HPT turn neg than more than likely trigger is out of ur system --therfore you BFP is the real thing!!!
My trigger shot only takes 7 days to get out. Alot of depends of your body weight and how fast things get absorbed. Hope ur BFP stays for 9 months. Please keep us posted! :)
sounds like a definite positive to me!! the negative shows that the HCG was out of your system, so a false positive at this stage seems unlikely!
I take my HPT's in the morning 1st thing so I can get the most accurate reading. A friend talked me into taking one at lunch today and it's still positive.
it could be neg at night and then positive in the morning becuase of a higher concentration of hcg in the morning
HCG stay in your body for up to 14 days. The two HPT from last week may have read positive due to the HCG. The one this morning may be a true reading. Hold tight and test again in a few days. I did a HPT 12 days after HCG and it read negative. I tried again two days later and it read positive. Knowing that I had a good chance of the HCG being out of system. It was a true positive confirmed by RE. I wish you all the best! Hope to read about your positive beta in a few days! :)
