i think anything is possible as i got pregnant the first time round, 3 weeks into my cycle and i was regular at 4 weeks + - a day. my friends mum got pregnant in day 25 of her cycle and was a regular 28 day cycle. doctors always say 14 to 16 days before your due but as you see from what i have said thats not always true. i spoke to my doc about this a while back and see said it is possible or we wouldnt have the proof. its to do with the nerves and the way our body handles the pressures of day to day life. hope this helps.

are you having any treatment done??

Its VERY possible to get pregnant from intercourse on CD5!  Sperm can actually stay alive for up to 5 days!!!!  Not just 3 days.  So if a woman's first half of her cycle is short, then yes!  2 months ago I O'd on CD10!!!!!  WAY early!
I asked my RE about that being that I use to be very regular CD14 & he said that he has a bunch of women that O as early as CD8!!!!  & there's nothing wrong w/them........

I agree with Ita! It's definitely possible. Probably not very common, but it could definitely happen. It's too early to actually ovulate on CD5, but like Ita said, sperm can live up to five days in fertile cervical mucus.

It sure seems a bit unfair, though...that some women get pregnant that easily, while others try for years before finally getting their BFP. But hopefully it'll happen for you too soon!!!
