Thank you so much:) I hope everything goes good with you
hi dear
i can understand how you felt; my first RE appointment was in Jan 2011; i was excited thrilled and waited; doctor visit went pretty simple that day; we just spoke and thats it; then due to insurance issues; i had to switch to another RE in feb 2011; and this doctor is the best; he did my blood work that day; for all different types of tests to let us know about our body; eggs; uterus; and etc; and they also did an ultrasound on me to know the antra follicles and to see if uterus is all good; so it went really well; so based on those tests; some you get the results immeidately and for some you got to wait;
for those whom i got results; doctor spoke with us; explained us; gave us a 60% change of pregnancy with IVF.
in your case; i hope everything ges really well and you conceive soon. take care.
Thank u that helped alot I hope everything goes ok never had to go to see a fertility doctor before. Good luck with u:)
Hi there,
Just want to congrats you for this next step of your life and dh...This step you and dh are goin thru wont be easy but nothing is impossible...i've been ttc 1 year now just because i had surgery on my tubes and there were removed at age 22..was a depressing decision but i didnt want to have any more childrens..i have 3 girls naturally from my prevs marriage...i got married 1 year ago and its been an excelent marriage so far..my dh dont have childrens on his own..just my 3 princesses..so far i had 2 ivf's and 1 fet endend in failed...know in regards of your question..is very simple..your first visit will consist on knowing your RE, giving you different options of what will b the best protocol to use for you, the might suggest to do some test(blood,u/s,pelvic,etc), will prescribe bcp's(birth controll pills) thats most likely the first visit..know from the second visit and beyond,your RE will tell you exactly what you will expecting from them...i hope i was able to answer your question.
Thank you mhv i hope we get some answers to. It has been so long and im ready to go to the fertility doctor.
They will most likely do an exam (uterine u/s) some bloodwork. they will most likely tell you they want to start with iui... Good Luck! : ) I hope you get answers!
