Question about protocols

Hello,
I have a question about protocols.  I have had three failed IVFs.  I used a relatively high dose of gonal-f and menopur for the first (7 eggs, 2 embryos) and the highest dosages of gonal-f (450)and menopur (150), along with clomid and ganerelix for the last two(11 eggs, 2 embryos, cancelled and 4 eggs, 1 embryo, BFN).  My peak estrogen level was 1900 on the last cycle.  My FSH, LH, and E2 levels are good.  FSH was, last month, 6.7.  The problem is, alas, my age (42) and, hence, my egg quality.
I have spoken to a number of REs.   Here are the protocls:
1.  BCP for a month, 450 gonal-f, 150 menopur, ganirelix, letrozole
2.  no BCP, microdose lupron, 450 gonal-f, 150 menopur
3.  estrogen priming, 450 gonal-f, 150 menopur, ganirelix
Any thoughts about which one may work.

That is encouraging.  All of the doctors have good reasons for their protocols.  And, as I am not an expert, I can't tell which one would be the best.  The good news is is that all of the protocols work.

Thanks for your comments!

what is the birth control for? My dr did lupron 5 days after ovulation, then day one of my period started 150 menopur and 200 Follistim (and then went up to 250 on Follistim like 5 days or so into stimming). I'm 40 w/ a high FSH (11.7). I got 9 eggs, 5 embryos, 3 transferred (but none had made it to blast by day 5) so it's not looking hopeful. To think I thought I'd have some to freeze : (
On day 3 I had 5 embies, two were grade A so I can't figure out why he didn't just transfer them all on day 3. On the consent form it said up to 5 can be transferred for a 40 y/o if it's a day three transfer.
The only think I can think of is that I requested my actual dr do the transfer and he is usually off playing golf or something on Weds, and day 3 fell on a Weds...I hope that isn't the case but I can't figure out why else he'd wait until day 5

i did BCP, microdose lupron, 450 gonal-f and 150 menopur.
i had 8 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 2 embyros transfered on day 3 and am 24 weeks pregnant with 1 baby girl.
i'm 36 with normal blood values as well.
discuss with the doctors why they are choosing what they are choosing for you and why you think it's more likely to work.
good luck!
