Questions about OPK, please help. :)

Okay yesterday I got my first positive opk(that morning) and another that evening. This morning it was even darker than yesterday.  With opk's do you ovulate 24-36 hrs after you get your FIRST positive or is it different like since mine is darker today than yesterday? lol.

Another questions I've been wondering is...  When you get that positive exactly where IS the follice at?  In the fallopian tube waiting?  On it's way out of the ovary?  I should really read more but I thought I HAVE. Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks so much ladies!!  Today I got another positive around 1 p.m and by 6 this afternoon it was already fading :).  I've been trying myself for 6 plus yrs BUT during that time I was having awful periods, wound up having surgery(endometriosis, cyst on fallopian tube and polyp in middle of uterus) this June and have been TTC with the help of these OPK's and BBT since then. :)

Kara, Congratulations!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. :D  I've managed to BD twice since my first opk and hopefully I'll get to BD one last time tonight. :)  Hopefully that'll cover it. lol.

Melanie, that's so much.  I've been reading and reading. I have an ovulation tracker on here and trying to keep up with that. I just get so confused, then I stress when it doesn't go exactly the way I think it should.  Expect the worst and pray for the best, that's my motto.  Unfortunately!   :(    Good luck on your TTC journey. :D

Aimeec, Thank you so much for your help. :D   Good luck to you as well. :D

I just recently found out I was pregnant and we were only able to BD the day before I received a +opk due to the date of his semen analysis. So I can tell you that I would do it several days before, during and after! We had been trying for 2 yrs.

I haven't officially used the OPK but I am getting ready to. What I read was you need to mark down your cycle day 1 then count by your average cycle then start using the tests. My RE says to BD every other day from the day of Ovulation....When in doubt read the directions..I believe if you go on line they can explain it better.
Good Luck

hi i think when its a dark line its defo more of a positive than the lighter line.. also the egg is preparing to be released in the next 24-36 hours or so is what its detecting. meaning it has not been released but will be ..

good luck to you
