what are you meaning by back to back ?    if you meant one each month after another, then yes, lots and lots of people on here have gotten preg with IUI not one month, but the next or one after that !   we got preg on our third in a row (third in three months) unfortuantely miscarried.. but currently are on our second and last since the mc. it happens very often! : )  GOOD LUCK!

Sorry! I guess I meant that you have an IUI on CD14 and then on CD15 in the same month. I checked with my RN and she said that your chances do not increase. I was curious if anyone had any success with two IUIs in a row. Have you heard of this?

Thanks for your response. :)

AHH you know later on after i responded, i figured thats what you must have meant... i have deifntely heard of this.. and was concerned when my dr didn't do that.. so i researched it and from what i found in studies looks like your chances "might" increase like 3% or so and thats about it.. they found that its more important for an IUI to be correctly timed rather than having two mediocorely timed ones.. optimal results typicall at 36 hours after trigger!  Though lots of people do get preg with the double IU"s,, I cant' remember anyone specific on here that did, but know it has happened, but who knows if it was as a result of the two or if one would have worked?    GOOD LUCK!

I have done several back to back IUI's. Unfortunately 6 cycles of that hasn't work. However, this month I'm hoping for it to be a different story. I did my first IUI 14 hours after trigger and 38 hours after trigger. I'm really hoping this one worked. The nurse said the timing that's the best is 36-41 hours after trigger.

Thanks for the info. I think I may just stick to one IUI at a time. I rather have one good one than two mediocore ones. However, I will see my RN next week and discuss it. Thanks again for your help!

Good luck to you and please let me know what happens.

Not so much luck for me either. :( Sorry.. I went through 6 cycles, only one of which we had a back to back, but the good news on my end is 2 months after we quit doing IUI and though we were on to invitro,.....BFP so there is always hope out there! Trust me, 5 yrs of ttc I finally have a BFP.. You all will get yours too!

Nevaeh222~ I'm glad to see you are back in the race! I was wondering about you! ~YAY~

Thanks for the info kikicoates78. I'm going to try up to 4 IUIs...if they are not successful, I will be moving to injectables. I actually need to talk to my RN about it. I'm getting a little worried since I have unexplained infertility. Hopefully one day soon it will happen.

Thanks!
