Second injectable cycle...anyone else on injectables this month?

Well, the cyst from my first injectable cycle is gone! Yay! I'm CD2 today and will start femara and menopur tomorrow. I will be taking femara days 3-7 and one menopur shot on days 3, 5 and 7. I produced three mature follicles on my first round, but ended up with a BFN and a huge cyst. Hopefully I'll have some better luck this month!

Anyone else on injectables this month?

Hey Heather you will never guess but 22 eggs!!!! So yer must of had lots of follicles... Feeling alright now, was in a bt of pain last night. Good to have today off aswell.

We have frozen sperm so hope they take well since its frozen.. Well at least some of them will since so many.. Fingers x......

I was also thinking is it worth your partner freezing some so you guys have a back up plan??? My hubby has no swimmers so he also goes under to inject sperm out.. Very sore for him.. But they get alot, enough for about 3 cycles...

Well girls hope you all are travelling well...
Look forward hearing good news.......

Tracy: That's great about your 4-cell 2AA egg!!! And I'm glad your embryologist put your mind at ease about the bending over thing. Enjoy the TV shows and movies! Hopefully the little eggie is already getting nice and snug in there!

Beth: Did you test yet? I know with the time difference, you might not have gotten that far yet...but keep us posted when you do!

Ingy: Can't wait to hear how your retrieval went!

SSBD to everyone!

Ok ~ HAD to call embryology to find out EXACTLY what was up with eggs....couldn't wait.

I asked her about the egg that wasn't transferred-what happened to it?: It never continued dividing 2-cell odd shaped-spitted out fragmentation and was discarded.

The Egg that was transferred's quality she said was "Excellent..exactly what we look for": 4cell 2AA

I also asked about bending over yesterday and she said they wrote the strict instructions to just make women realize to relax as much as possible the first two weeks after conceiving.  She asked if I was ever pregnant before, and I told her yes, but didn't know it at first and was going out dancing at the time with my husband all the time.  She said we just have to take it alot easier since it is through IVF and you don't want to risk anything.

...ok ~ I feel MUCH better!  Off to watch some more Angel/Charmed on TV then some Netfix movies on the net!

Have a great day girls!!!

ET went well ~ had the one transferred that originally multinucleated but then separated into 3-cells.  The original one that was fine ended up multinucleating, so they didn't use it.  I have alot of questions on this, and have not found any answers on the net.  It frightens me since I really don't know what to expect, and the embryologist was very vague to say the least, but she had said alot of women had had full-term pregnancies with nromal children who had the same "problems", so I am hopeful.

We stopped for lunch on our way home and then I slept for about 3 hrs on the couch until my daughter came home, then DH went to the dentist, and is now @the Confirmation workshop with her while I have our four dogs demanding my attention. (It's pretty hard to try and type while a big nose keeps on nudging your elbow up to get a pet..!!)

I did bend over to pick my dish up from the floor (without thinking since the instructions explicitly said no bending over..uuggh..) so I can put it in the sink, and could have kicked myself afterwards.  Hope I didn't mess anything up.  I am really not a sedentary person, and this is killing me to just lay on the couch all day - at least I get to watch any movie I want on NETFLIX!!!....(3 so far...).

Hope everyone else is doing well.

If anyone has any info on this I'd REALLY appreciate it!

TIA!

You know, I can't remember who it was, but I remember someone else had their estrogen tested after ovulation too...maybe a month or two ago. I've never had it checked myself, though, only progesterone.  I noticed you added a separate post, so hopefully someone else would know. SSBD!
