I just came from my first RE visit.Here is all details.
First when we entered to clinic nurse gave us two forms to be fill. Which contain detais of our name,address,ssn,insurance,birthdates...etc etc.
Then after 15 to 20 min doctor came to meet us.
She strated with some basic questions.Here is some of them.
1.How long you have been on ttc?
2.Are you useing any contraceptive?
3.How long ?
4are you having any kind of pain during your period?
5 Are taking any medicine for that?
6 do you have nay other medicall problem?
7 are you taking any medicine regularly?
8 have you gone through any surgery?
9 can i see your cycle history?
10 Are you using opks?
11 whats your height and weight?
12whats your husband age?
13 are your both drinking or smokeing?
14any problem with ejaculation?
15 any surgeries?
16 are you vegetarian?
17aksed abt family history
And lot more....
Ans: she said that dont need to worry as you are tryning for only six month and I dont feel that u need go through any kind of diagnose procedure . Again she inlude that from my side I feel that everything look good as your cylce is regular and also you are getting positive opk at right time but if you want to reansure yuo can go through some blood work and later on if you want you can do SA.Futher she said as 85% will conceive within one year and you are young you should try for another six month.
So for me I have to wait for another six month.But I am going for blood work after 10 days.
Again I asked that its not the right time to ask ...may be I should ask abt it after one year but can you tell me what are my chance to conceive by ivf?
She answered that looking to your age its 55% at our center.
It took almost an hour for our first visit.

Good u met RE,i too agree with ur RE try urself for six more months ,and i do not think at this stage u have to think about IVF,in my case my RE told that i have insulin resistance ,thats the reason i am not conceving ,
i just pray for GOD that u should get pg naturally .
