I think I am too :)

I got a line slightly darker than the control line last night.  I do hope it's telling me it's time.  I am getting confused because fertility friend is not telling me any ovulation.   but OPK is,  anyway we BD'd and will continue for the whole weekend.  I am CD19 now I guess this is late Ovulation?

Hmmm weird. I calculated that it would happen today and I had a FMU and it was bright colors so I'm ready. I hope I didn't miss anything. I'm scheduling my first IUI today.

Bny807 is right in that the surge won't show up in your urine until later in the day.  I've read that either mid to late afternoon is best or even in the evening.  You should also try to limit how much you drink in the few hours before you test so that it's not too diluted.

I used very cheap OPK test sticks and tested twice a day, FMU and pm.  My first surge was always detected in the pm so afternoon test is probably better.

You can test any time.  It is different from HPT.  I would test morning and night of the couple days you think you may ovulate....

Hello! yes late afternoon is supposed to be the best, since your surge actually takes place in the morning, but doens' t make it in your urine for 6-8 hours typically!  at least thats what i've read!!!  Good luck!
