Hi,

I'm doing good thanks :-)

The recovery was fine, I am more or less back to normal now I had to take it easy for a couple of weeks afterwards the cramping didn't last long at all and was only mild anyway. I only had pain killers whilst I was in the recovery room I haven't needed them since.

I've been still wearing 'lady products' but I do think that this is because I had that cervical erosion and that has died down now aswell so I'm pleased about that. I'm not sure when we can TTC again? I'm not ready just yet I want everything to heal 100% first. I'm just waiting for a follow up appointment with my Consultant.

Honestly it's nothing to worry about, I felt that well afterwards I even questioned that I'd actually had anything done. Although I felt well you still have to take it easy with it been internal surgery you can't see the healing.

Keep me posted.

i had a septum in my uterus the dr found it as they were unblocking both of my tubes. they had to put a balloon in for a wk so my uterus wouldn't collapse that was annoying. dont know how big the septum was. i had a son with the septum my dr said i had it since birth and i have a 5 year old son so i has no problems with getting pg. this time it was my block tube the took the septum out just because they were all ready doing the surgery. hope it helps good luck.

I heard of some women conceiving with septated uterus on the pregnancy forum but I am sure that having the surgery will help implantation.  Besides, it's always good for them to look inside your uterus and make sure that everything is in order.  I hope your bfp is coming soon!!!

Hi,

Yes I had this surgery 2 weeks ago via Hysteroscopy I suffered 3 m/c and had a septum divide diagnosed on a 3D scan I don't know exactly what my Consultant did it said on my discharge form 'Resection to Uterine Septum'. I also had diathermy to cervix at the same time due to a cervical erosion which has been causing me bother for the last 2 years.

I think that my septum was about 1.5cm. For the past 2 years I was told that I had a Bicornuate Uterus and nothing could be done for me until I met with a different Consultant who said he would help then hopefully I will have a healthy pregnancy.

the top of my uterus is wider than normal and thicker than normal.. i think it can be severe enough in some people to almost divide the uterus in two sides.. sounds like they will go in and scrape down the septum, allowing a better chance of implantation on the top of the uterus along with lower miscarriage risk.... just curious if anyone has gone through this??
