implantation bleeding at 9dpo. Is that too late?

Last night I had some pink/red blood when I wiped. DH and I had sex in the morning. Not sure if this could be blood from that. Is it too late for implantation bleeding. I have been having cramping since 7dpo and feel like I am about to have AF. I have had no other bleeding since.

I had implantation spotting at 7dpo with this pregnancy, never experienced it with my other 2 pregnancies. I tested at 9dpo and it was +, but I stayed cautious b/c I thought it could still be from the hcg shot I had before our iui. So I waited until 13dpo, and it was still +! Good luck, and I agree, test around 13dpo or so. You should get an accurate result then!

Implantation can happen as late as 12 dpo and hcg should start rising shortly after the implantation.  9 dpo is way too early and if this was implantation your HPT would not register anything for another few days.  I would take another test at 12 dpo.
Good luck!  Fionn will be a great big brother!

Thanks I know I should wait but I cannot help myself. I would literally spend all day wanting to test it is better just to have it over and done with so I can go about my day.

Test first day of a missed period for the most accuarte result. Testing today was way too early.  Early testing is also expensive... Those preg tests are not cheap. ;)

I had implantation spotting at 12dpo with a huge temp dip on my BBT chart. Got a BFP 2 days later. So no, that is not too late...  Average is 7-10 dpo if any implantation bleeding is to occur. It is rare to have IB, only 20-25% of women experience it.

Good Luck!
