ttc for over a year

Hello I'm 20 yrs old and been married for a little over a year and my husband and I have been ttc since with no luck.. my doctor found that I have 2 small fibroid tumors after he did a pelvic ultrasound..one is 1.8cm and is in my cervix and the other is 16mm in the uterus.. I want to know if this can be the cause of me not being pregnant yet.. are they big enough to be the cause or can it be blocking my cervix..what can be going on? Will I be able to get pregnant??
Thankyou

Oh, OK. For the cyst, that doesn't really matter...if you have a period, regular or not, that means the blood can flow through the cervix, which means the opening is not blocked and sperm should be able to swim through, too. However, if you have very irregular cycles, then that could be an ovulation problem. You might want to ask your doctor about a few blood tests to check and then possible get a prescription for an ovulation-inducing drug, like clomid. Good luck!

I don't think the cyst is blocking your cervix. I assume you have regular period, right? And if so, then it's open enough to let sperm in as well. But it would probably be a good idea to set up a consultation with your doctor to see if he thinks they can have anything to do with you not getting pregnant. After a year of TTC, it might be time to do a few simple tests anyway. Best of luck with everything!
