Introducing Notes

Hi,

We've had a lot of requests from our members for the ability to leave a quick note of support, congrats, a thank you, or even a hug, to other members without having to start a new discussion within the forum. We thought this was another great idea from the MedHelp Community and we're pleased to announce we've just launched Notes. We now have 9 themed notes that you can quickly write to other members, simply by hovering over their name and clicking "Leave a Note". Most recent notes will appear right on the members profile, and we've added a new tab called "Notes" where all of them will be listed.

Leave a quick note for a friend and try it out! Thanks for the terrific ideas, and keep the feedback coming.

Hi,

We figured in the cases where you wanted something totally private, you could use the Private Messaging instead of the Notes. Basically, between the 2 you have the option of which to use.

In addition, if you don't want others seeing notes to yourself, in your Privacy Settings (on your main MedHelp page, in Settings --> Privacy) you can set it so only your Friends see your notes.

Hope this helps.

Eh - I want to add one thing now that I have been on the site for a bit today.  I think that you should make the notes confidential like the emails! I don't think everyone should be able to see what someone writes to another.

Just my opinion!

These are very cute and fun to send!  As I say to my pre-schoolers, you used your head, so 'kiss your brain' on this one! :)
